ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP

Sydney is excited to invite applicants to celebrate their passion for science, technology, engineering, math, and space science through this personal essay project!

@SeeSydSoar and partners offered two full scholarships to attend Space Camp, run by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. In addition to admission to space camp, we will also give you $600 toward airfare.

Requirements: Student Must be ages 12-14, female-identifying, and available to travel during the dates of camp. You’ll find the full list of requirements on the application.

ABOUT SPACE CAMP

When you attend Space Camp, you will become an aspiring explorer training to live and work in space. Space Camp is your opportunity to command, navigate, and contribute to a space mission simulation. Space Camp® will inspire and motivate you to join the ranks of space pioneers who persevere to push the boundaries of human exploration.

Trainees practice clear communication through aquatic team-building activities and leadership training at Space Camp Challenge Course and put engineering skills to the test as they construct an ablative shield during the Thermal Design Challenge.
